WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master, ref 1675, circa 1977, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, stainless steel screw back Oyster case with bi-directional red back faded "Pepsi" 24 hour bezel insert, riveted link Rolex USA Oyster bracelet, original MK4 dial with luminous painted hour plots, date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, re-engraved reference number and s# which reads 5256604, triple signed with signed clasp, Rolex USA CI bracelet, inside back ref 1675. This is a fabulous watch for the collector who wants a nice looking vintage 1675 they can toss around and wear without worry or for the person who has always wanted a 1675 but has not had the deep pockets to go along with their desire.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light discoloration on rotor edge; nearly flawless dial with light cream luminous plots; excellent-plus tritium Mercedes hands with light spotting to hands; polished case shows light wear, lug chamfers have all been polished off, bezel is tight, several light dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet as well as dings on case sides and lug tops, re-engraved serial and reference numbers are deeper in appearance and sloppier than the original "Stainless Steel" and "Registered Design"; bracelet shows light wear, light stretch; original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good plastic crystal; resealed for auction.
